The images below are of a painting I completed last winter of two blue jays sitting on a cherry tree branch. I used three 5 x 7 canvas' and framed them in a collage frame. My inspiration for these paintings came from my boyfriend's parents and my grandmother. My grandmother always has birds feeding outside her living room window which she loves to watch. My boyfriend's father is a bird enthusiast and they have a cherry tree growing in their yard. I decided to keep the original painting for myself this time as all my other paintings have been given away. I had my paintings scanned so I could make prints that would go in frames. I shipped framed prints to my grandmother and in laws in Newfoundland.
If anyone is interested in buying a set of prints please contact me.

Old Family Home
I finished this painting earlier this year. It took me a year off and on to complete. It has quite a bit of significance for me because the house was in my mother's family. The house is located just outside Digby, Nova Scotia. Unfortunately my grandmother was unable to see the painting before I completed it as she passed away last summer.
Enjoy!
